Haicom are a company known extremely well in the GPS Sector for the products they create. Haicom have created the worlds first dual-mode GPS Receiver. Not only can the Haicom 303 MMF be used as a Compact Flash GPS Receiver both in Pocket PC's and Laptop's, but it can be folded into a GPS Mouse and connected to a serial port via the supplied cable.
The Compact Flash card is a Type II card which means it will work in most PDA's and Laptops, to use with a laptop you will need a Compact Flash to PCMCIA adapter which is sold separately.
The best thing about the Haicom 303 MMF is not only does it support the latest SiRF IIe/LP chipset which boasts trickle and low power mode, WAAS (Wide Area Augmentation System) for great accuracy down to 3 meters, but also the Haicom 303 MMF allows you to angle the GPS Receiver to get the best possible angle for the integrated patch antenna.
